THE JONI MITCHELL PROJECT
Singer/Songwriter Sally Barker has cherished a long-held ambition to present Joni Mitchell’s songs as close to their original form as is possible. ‘Big Yellow Taxi’ was one of the first songs Sally sang live and she has lost count of the times her voice has been compared to Joni’s. When Sally was asked to perform ‘Coyote’ as Joni in a tribute version of Martin Scorcese’s film The Last Waltz, research into the song’s tuning refuelled that ambition.Sally has put together musicians who, like herself, possess the capacity to breathe within the fabric of Joni’s material and give it fresh life, without sacrificing the authenticity of those cherished songs.

Organik Trio
Hammond Grooves - Cool Guitar - Funky Drums
The Organik Trio add a bucketload of groove to pop, soul, funk and jazz tunes, spice up the mix with songs from the likes of Sting, Bond Themes and The Beatles, and blend in their own original material.
'Righteous Mama' Wendy Kirkland (Hammond organ) is aided and abetted by Pat Sprakes (guitar) and Ian Beestin (drums). And unlike many organ trios, believe it or not, Organik Trio are actually in posession of a Hammond organ, not a clone.
NEW - Organik Trio were nominated for the PRSF Promoter's Award following their appearance at Newark Jazz Festival in May!
Hip and trendy, you are in for an evening of chilled sophistication.
